You may remember Antoine Dodson as the star of the famous viral video in which he encourages viewers to hide their wives and kids, because - in his words - "they're raping everybody out here!"
That was way back in 2010, and a lot's changed for Dodson in the years since. For one thing, he got married and had a kid, after declaring that he's "no longer into homosexuality" last year.
Additionally, Antoine is apparently training to become a boxer, and he knows just who he wants to square off against in his debut fight:
Yes, we all know there are plenty of reasons to punch Justin Bieber, but while the rest of us just dream of knocking the Biebs back to Canada, Dodson is actually issuing a public challenge.
Even though Bieber's been training with Floyd Mayweather, it seems unlikely that he'll take Antoine up on his offer to step into the ring.
Anyone who's seen the famous Orlando Bloom-Bieber fight video knows that Justin responds to physical confrontations by curling up into a ball and waiting for his bodyguards to intervene.
There's a reason you don't see many boxers taking that approach.
Then again, the only thing bigger than Bieber's bank account is his ego, so maybe he will put his money where his mouth is and fight Dodson. Then, hopefully, Antoine will put his fist where Bieber's mouth is. Run and tell that, homeboy!
You may not have known this, but Taylor Swift has been involved in a lot of high-profile relationships over the years.
Shocking, right? Anyway, one of Swift's most recent and memorable breakups was with One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles.
Swift and Styles only dated for about two months, which is a shame, because their hyphenated married names would've been awesome.
Despite the brief nature of their relationship, however, the split seems to have had a serious impact on Taylor.
Swift spoke about her breakup with Styles during a party she hosted for fans recently, and she's written several songs on the subject (her coping method of choice).
But despite the public airing of grievances, Styles and Swift have reportedly patched things up and are quickly becoming unlikely besties.
It all started during a recent One Direction press event, at which the topic of Taylor writing "Out of the Woods" about Harry came up.
"We write from personal experience," Harry said. "So it would be hypocritical to be like, 'Oh, you can't write about us.'"
Harry's defense of Taylor led to rumors that the two are on speaking terms again. Those reports have now been confirmed by a source who spoke with Us Weekly:
"They have become pals," says the insider. "Taylor has been bragging to her trainer and celeb friends that she and Harry are talking again."
In sad news for Swift-Style 'shippers, however, the source confirms that neither party has any interest in reconciliation. Or to put it another way, Taylor and Harry are never, ever, ever getting back together.
Another week, another music milestone for Taylor Swift.
The artist’s latest single, “Blank Space,” has sky-rocketed to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, an historic achievement because Swift replace someone she knows well in that spot:
Indeed, now that "Blank Space" has overtaken "Shake It Off," Swift has become the first female singer ever to supplant her own track with another one of her own tracks.
The 24-year-old superstar is also the only artist in 2014 to have a pair Hot 100 number one-songs.
Meghan Trainor‘s “All About That Bass” held on to the number-two spot, while “Shake It Off” landed at number-three, followed by Maroon 5’s “Animals.”
Swift, of course, has been all over the media over the past month or so, ever since her pop album, "1989," was released in late October.
She's covering magazines. She's giving interviews. She's lip-syncing to her own songs. She's pretty much owning the music world.
A lawyer for Tracy Morgan provided an update on the actor yesterday.
And the news is not encouraging.
Outside a federal courthouse in New Jersey, Benedict Morelli told reporters of Morgan, who was involved in a horrific car accident this summer:
Mr. Morgan is a fighter. He's fighting to get better. And if there's a chance for him to be back to the Tracy Morgan he once was, he's going to try to do that. But we just don't know because of the severity of the injuries that he sustained and the fact that he had such a severe brain injury.
The former 30 Rock star is pursuing a lawsuit against Walmart for negligence after one of the company's truck drivers ran into a limousine carrying Morgan and six others back in June.
The accident killed one of Morgan's good friends and mentors, 62-year-old James "Jimmy Mack" McNair.
Morgan was placed in critical condition after the crash and has been very slow to recover from the injuries he sustained.
The actor/comedian hasn't said much since this incident took place, but Morgan did respond in late September to Walmart's assertion that he and his passengers are partly to blame for the fallout from the crash because they weren't wearing seatbelts at the time.
"After I heard what Walmart said in court I felt I had to speak out," he said. "I can't believe Walmart is blaming me for an accident that they caused. My friends and I were doing nothing wrong.
"I want to thank my fans for sticking with me during this difficult time. I love you all. I'm fighting hard every day to get back."
And we wish him the best of luck as he does so.
Earlier today, the world learned that Chris Hemsworth is People's Sexiest Man Alive for 2014.
The honor forever cements Chris' place as the Awesome Hemsworth, and reminds the world that his brother Liam is the one who got engaged to a pre-twerk Miley Cyrus before going on to get like three seconds of screen time in The Hunger Games.
However, Chris may never have been able to add "Sexiest Dude" to a resume that already includes "Thor" and "more Thor" were it not for Ryan Gosling who's apparently just not into labels.
"They tried a few times, especially during his huge year in 2011," says a source close to Gosling. The Baby Goose reportedly had zero interest in the title and believed it would hurt his career.
Who could blame him? Look what it did to Johnny Depp, George Clooney, Matthew McConaughey, Brad Pitt, Channing Tatum, Ben Affleck, and Matt Damon. Where are those losers now?
A rep for People declined to comment on Gosling turning down Sexiest Man in the past, but did say that The Notebook heartthrob was not in the running for in 2014:
"While I look forward to the day when Ryan Gosling is named Sexiest man Alive, this was not the year," says the magazine's editorial director.
"Our 2014 honoree Chris Hemsworth was our first and only choice. If you want to know why, just look at him. I mean seriously."
Pretty much every year, fans demand Gosling be named Sexiest Man Alive and the news that he flat-out doesn't want the title is unlikely to calm the rabid gals and guys responsible for the web's endless supply of "Hey, girl" memes.
Fortunately, plenty of other magazines have recognized that Ryan is an alright-looking dude. In fact, just last year, Gosling was named "most f--kable" celeb by Details magazine. Yes, apparently that's a thing.
Actor Chris Hemsworth is dominating the movie world this year and next with The Avengers, Blackhat and In the Heart of the Sea, but he just won an even bigger role:
People Magazine's annual, prestigious Sexiest Man Alive title.
The star, 31, thought it was "pretty funny" when he first heard about the news, as did his wife, Spanish model, Elsa Pataky, 38, whom he wed in 2010.
"I think you've bought me a couple of weeks of bragging rights around the house," Hemsworth says in this week's cover story, referring to the wife.
He adds, "I can just say to her, 'Now remember, this is what the people think, so I don't need to do the dishes anymore, I don't need to change nappies."
"I'm above that," Hemsworth, 31, jokes. "I've made it now.'"
The Australian lives Down Under with Elsa and their daughter India, 2, and 8-month-old twin sons, Sasha and Tristan, and that's where his heart is.
"We just had a big beach day with the kids, swimming and kicking the ball around," he says. "That was the first time in a long time we've done that."
"That's what it's all about," he says of his perfect afternoon.
Hemsworth, who is famously chiseled as Thor, says he tries to be disciplined when it comes to his diet and exercise but looks forward to his cheat days.
"Then it's pizza, hamburgers, beer, sugary things," he adds, saying his list of favorite foods basically amounts to "everything I'm not allowed to have!"
Ellen DeGeneres has a lot of history with Kim Kardashian.
The reality star renewed her vows with Kris Humphries in October 2011 on an episode of the comedian's talk show. She also accepted the Ice Buckett challenge alongside Ellen.
DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi also mocked Kim and Kanye West's "Bound 2" music video for their Christmas card last year.
And now the hilarious couple is up to it again. Consider their 2014 holiday card, unveiled today on an episode of Ellen:
DeGeneres's holiday cards are part of a partnership with Shutterfly in which the company donates money to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Humane Society.
So they're funny... they're creative... and they're for a good cause.
Oh, and they also poke fun at Kim Kardashian. Talk about a win-win-win-win.
Matt Lauer, you have messed with the wrong fan base.
During an interview on The Today Show yesterday, the embattled host spoke to Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan about their group's new album, "Four."
But first Lauer took note of Zayn Malik's absence, wondering aloud if perhaps something more than a mere stomach bug was to blame.
Is there any truth to those substance abuse rumors, Lauer asked?
This question elicited loud boos from those in attendance, though Payne handled it well and just reiterated that Malik was under the weather.
Now, Malik himself has spoken out against Lauer and the seemingly random, unfair implication that he has any kind of drug problem.
"I’m really angry and upset by what was said," Zayn tells The Sun. "I was really ill at the weekend, that’s why I couldn’t fly to America."
The artist's rep, meanwhile, expounded on the topic when speaking to The Daily Mail:
"Zayn was taken ill after recording the Band Aid single at the weekend and was unfortunately not well enough to fly to the USA yesterday. He will join the band for promotion for the new album as soon as he possibly can."
Soon after news of Malik's malady went viral, the hashtag "#GetWellSoonZayn" started to trend on Twitter.
And so did a lot of vitriol aimed in the direction of Matt Lauer.
Kim is in no trouble at all with siblings after posing naked for Paper Magazine last week.
When asked by E! News for her take on Kim baring her birthday suit for the entire world, Khloe Kardashian responded with nothing but her full support a couple days ago.
"If you got it, flaunt it!” Khloe said. “People were just so hard on her during her pregnancy that I think she feels so liberated to show everyone ‘Look how bomb I look!’ So I kind of love that she’s saying a big eff you to the world."
Sure. That's one way to look at it, we suppose.
It is true that the tabloids often called out Kim for being fat while she housed daughter North West in her stomach, which was clearly unfair and ridiculous.
But many critics might take exception to this form of revenge.
Naya Rivera famously called Kardashian out for acting as an irresponsible mother for posing in the buff, though it's unclear why this is even a big deal at this point.
After all, this isn't the first time Kim Kardashian's got naked for a magazine.
Clearly troubled star Amanda Bynes now says she was obviously kidding when she fantasized aloud about killing her parents in a shocking new audio tape.
A friend of the star recorded Amanda Bynes talking about killing her parents in alarming detail while driving around with her in a car at some point recently.
She describes the hypothetical murders at length, and in detail.
Bynes rambled, ranted and raved about how her father deserves to be left in a ditch and that if you only knew what she's been through, you'd understand.
The friend sent the recordings to TMZ in hopes that medical professionals would realize what a dire situation she's in, but Bynes says it was all in jest.
In a series of tweets, she explains that obviously she's not really going to slit her dad’s throat and her mom’s wrists ... despite having said that and more:
"By the way - i was obviously joking about hurting my family - i straight up don’t believe in harming a soul,” Bynes wrote, going on to explain further:
“I said what I said in jest & if you don’t understand that then know I’m in therapy to talk about my dad issues and that will solve my concerns with ppl invading my private life.”
Absurd logic aside, she may well have been joking around or just ranting harmlessly, but her mental state these days makes it hard not to fear the worst.
Judge Facundo Cubas from Argentina has told Interpol to use all “necessary means” in order to alert Bieber to the fact that he has 60 days to appear before a court in his South American country.
The artist has been accused of sending bodyguards to attack a photographer outside a Buenos Aires nightclub on November 9, 2013.
Argentine photographer Diego Pesoa says he was chased down and beaten by Bieber’s entourage near the the INK nightclub while the singer and his pals partied inside.
This isn't the first (or second... or third... or fourth...) time that Bieber has been accused of using his bodyguards to attack members of the paparazzi.
One of his employees was arrested for stealing a photographer’s camera in February, while another bodyguard was caught on camera in November of last year going after a journalist.
If convicted of this latest crime, Bieber could face a year in prison.
Though spoiler alert... he probably wont.
Taylor Swift has been dateless for some time, and happily so, but one new rumor suggests she hopes to end the streak with none other than Chris Martin.
The serial monogamist turned proud single lady, who mocks her own relationship history in these classic Taylor Swift "Blank Space" GIFs, is supposedly smitten.
According to Star, she has a “massive crush” on Martin, despite his on-off romance with Jennifer Lawrence since consciously uncoupling from Gwyneth Paltrow.
“Taylor would love to make Chris her new boyfriend,” a source says.
She's already putting that plan into motion too, the tabloid claims.
“She’s taking advantage of how Jen’s and Chris’s busy schedules are keeping them apart,” the insider says. “She can sense that their relationship is on shaky ground."
"So she’s moving in ... fast.”
According the completely unreliable celebrity gossip publication, Swift has had feelings for Martin “for years,” ever since the two had dinner in 2012.
The two dined in London with Gwyneth, who was happily married to the Coldplay singer at the time, so of course she never thought anything could come of it.
That was then, though.
Taylor’s decision to join The Voice as a mentor this fall was based in part on the fact that Chris had mentored the NBC series in the past, supposedly.
Swift allegedly sent Martin a letter, asking him about the show and before long, the two were emailing back and forth about that and other matters:
“The content of those emails were becoming more and more flirtatious as Taylor flattered Chris about his music and queried him about the single life."
Martin, who is said to be back together with Jennifer Lawrence, is “blown away by Taylor’s maturity and wit,” according to these rumors.
It's one thing for a 24-year-old pop star to grace the cover of Rolling Stone, but when you see your face under the heading of Time magazine, you know you've reached a level of cultural significance few artists even dream of.
That's the honor that America's top-selling musician received today, as the new issue of Time features an in-depth interview and cover story, aptly titled, "The Power of Taylor Swift."
While the photo may not be as eye-catching as Taylor's Wonderland magazine cover, the interview inside might be Swift's most revealing to date, as she opens up about everything from accidental nudity to her surprising feminist role models.
On the challenges faced by women in the music industry: It's a little discouraging to see that women have to work so much harder to prove they do their own things...And we all know it's a feminist issue. In the beginning, I liked to think we were all on the same playing field.
On her role models: Mariska Hargitay. I think she has a beautiful life and an incredible career, and I think she's built that for herself...And Ina Garten, the Barefoot Contessa.I really love her business, and how she sticks to who she is.
On being a role model herself: It's the same thing as living your life based on what your grandkids will say one day...I'd rather have it be, 'Grandma look how awkward your dancing was in the 'Shake It Off' video!" rather than, 'Grandma is that your nipple?' I think about the people in my life that that would disappoint: my mom, my dad, my kids, if I ever have them."
Ever since Amanda Bynes was released from a psychiatric facility last month, she's been passing up the hotel room provided by her parents in favor of living a semi-homeless existence in West Hollywood.
Amanda had been crashing with her hairdresser and two other young women, but TMZ reports that they've now kicked her to the curb and filed a lawsuit after Amanda allegedly trashed their apartment.
The roommates reportedly contacted Amanda's parents, demanding cash for nearly 2 grand in damages.
Rick and Lynn Bynes replied - rather reasonably - that they were against Amanda moving into the apartment in the first place, and the girls should have known what they were getting themselves into.
The alleged damages actually don't sound that bad, considering some of the destructive behavior in which Amanda has engaged in recent weeks:
Bynes dyed her hair purple last week and her roommates claim she messed up their carpet and furniture with runoff from her lavender locks.
Also, they claim she burned cigarette holes in their rugs.
The girls also complained that Amanda was prone to wild mood swings and that her personality seemed to change dramatically from one moment to the next.
There's no word on exactly when they kicked her out, or where Amanda is staying these days.
Jennifer Lawrence is a woman who knows what she wants in life, and in love. On the latter front, it's not really shocking what the star says she looks for.
In the new issue of French magazine Madame Figaro, the 24-year-old reveals that the ideal mate for her is "one who allows her to be herself in all situations."
"Otherwise, you might as well stay single."
Lawrence, who might be back together with Chris Martin, is currently overseas as part of a massive PR tour for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.
That's just part of her job as an A-list star, and the accompanying interest in her personal life is something she says she has been very reluctant to accept.
Admitting it took days to agree to portray Katniss Everdeen, she says, "I realized that whatever I do, at any level, I would lose a part of my private life."
"For each 'everyday' photo published," the paparazzi-averse Oscar-winner says, "I generally spent three hours playing cat and mouse with photographers."
"I always had a very clear idea of the type of course I wanted - acting, that's all. Of course, by contract, I must assure a media presence to promote my work.
"But if I had a choice," says the talented and versatile but world-weary actress, "you wouldn't hear me express myself except in movies."
So what about Twitter, Facebook and other social media?
"All that doesn't interest me for a second!" she says.
"I'm always hundreds of emails behind."
Given the fact that numerous Jennifer Lawrence nude photos were among the flagship leaks disseminated by The Fappening, her attitude is not surprising.
This has been true of her throughout, however.
For a woman of her stature, she keeps a surprisingly low profile aside from movie press and has done so long before she was as famous as she is now.
Because every couple that has ever appeared together on a reality series ends up living happily ever, Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg have agreed to a deal with A&E.
Tentatively titled “Donnie Loves Jenny,” the 10 one-hour episode season will chronicle the newlyweds as they navigate through their first year of marriage.
"We’re so excited about this deal and look forward to a long and successful relationship creating entertaining and provocative unscripted programming with our partners at A&E," said the couple in a statement.
McCarthy and Wahlberg, who will each produce the program as well, added:
"Our feeling is, who better to make our first show for the network about than about us? We love working together and with our crazy schedules this gives us the chance to both work and play together."
Macaulay Culkin is not dead, despite another fast-spreading Internet hoax indicating the Home Alone star's demise ... for the second time this year alone.
The troubled and sometimes reclusive actor, 34, who at one point was reportedly in the throes of heroin addiction and appeared gaunt, is alive and well.
According to the latest Macaulay Culkin death hoax, he was found dead in his Manhattan apartment. Facebook and Twitter users quickly bought in.
With fans linking to a story on something called MSNBC (dot) website (dot) com - obviously not the real NBC, MSN or MSNBC - the story went viral.
According to the unconfirmed and unsubstantiated reports, Culkin was found dead after police responded to a wellness check requested by a family member:
"At least one occupant of the Manhattan apartment confirmed the apartment belongs to Culkin but police have not confirmed the man’s identity at this time."
Det. James Patterson, allegedly of the Manhattan Police Department, said:
“The apartment was exceptionally clean and we found no signs of abuse or foul-play so we are depending on the coroner to make a final ruling of what happened.”
The actor turned musician was also reported dead back in April, with Facebook users mourning his alleged death and even a memorial page popping up.
Though reps for the actor denied the April reports, they have not yet spoken out on the latest hoax claiming that Culkin is dead ... but he's still not.
He was seen with his band, The Pizza Underground, last night, and even took a "Weekend At Bernies" inspired picture.
Culkin has become much lower profile as an adult than when he was one of the biggest child stars of all time, so it's easy to see how one would believe this.
If you hadn’t heard, animal-loving Miley has a pet pig now. She adopted it over the summer. It’s name is Bubba Sue.
Miley, who at last count also has four dogs, so loves this pig that she treats it like a human, even giving it a pedicure as she shared with the world on Instagram Thursday.
Miley posted a photo of someone painting Bubba Sue’s toes a fashionable shade of red. “Pig pig gonna be lookin fresh,” she wrote.
More than 313,000 fans have “liked” the photo. But some were peeved by the porcine pedi, finding it more cruel than cute. And they roasted the megastar.
“It’s not a toy.”
By the time she was 13, Amanda Bynes was starring in her own sketch comedy series on Nickelodeon.
Now, at the age of 28, she's hoping to find a gig slinging drinks at an LA watering hole.
TMZ reports that Amanda is desperate for cash these days, and she's told friends to put the word out that she wants a bartending job.
Bynes is homeless at the moment, and while she may not be sleeping on the streets, as some outlets have claimed, she admits that with the court-ordered hold on her finances, she doesn't have enough cash for an apartment or even a hotel room.
Fortunately, Bynes has a lot of friends in the area and she's been able to secure shelter. Even former reality star Heidi Montag has offered Bynes a place to stay.
But to her credit, Amanda is reportedly not content to depend on the kindness of semi-famous strangers.
She's fighting hard for access to her $5.7 million fortune and in the meantime, she means to earn some serious tips.
Of course, it's not just an apartment and new clothes that she's after.
Amanda wants plastic surgery. Badly. Her comments on her own appearance suggest that she may be suffering from body dysmorphia or a similar condition.
Her parents are currently in charge of her finances, but they'll soon hand the reins over to a new conservator. Amanda's obsession with altering her appearance is one of the many reasons that those closest to her don't trust her with that kind of cash.
The so-called "feud" between Taylor Swift and Spotify isn't really a feud at all, but rather the result of a savvy business decision on Taylor's part.
Spotify compensates artists, but streaming doesn't pay nearly as well as actual sales, so it's not hard to see why Taylor would prefer for her fans to go to iTunes or Target if they want to hear her blockbuster album.
"I'm not willing to contribute my life's work to an experiment that I don't feel fairly compensates the writers, producers, artists, and creators of this music," Taylor said in a recent interview.
"I just don't agree with perpetuating the perception that music has no value and should be free."
But isn't 1989 the best-selling album of the year? Isn't Taylor on track to become the highest-paid female entertainer of 2014. Does she really need the money that comes from album sales when she has tours, endorsements and a million other revenue streams?
Well, it turns out there's more to the decision to pull her music from Spotify than just money.
Streaming services put the emphasis on individual songs rather than albums, and it seems Taylor believes 1989 works best as a cohesive whole:
"I'd really much rather write a novel than a bunch of short stories," she says. "I'd rather be known for a collection of songs that go together and live together and belong together."
And since Taylor's intense love for her fans sets her apart from most artists as much as her talent and business acumen, her millions of devotees naturally entered into her decision as well:
"I felt like [with Spotify] I was saying to my fans, 'If you create music someday, if you create a painting someday, someone can just walk into a museum, take it off the wall, rip off a corner of it, and it's theirs now and they don't have to pay for it.'"
Yes, though it resulted in some minor backlash, Taylor's decision to pull her work from streaming services was actually another carefully considered step in one of the most skillfully navigated careers in music history.
