MediaTakeOut.com reports Simon has offered Beyoncé a spot on the judging panel — which, if she accepts, would make her the highest paid person on TV. According to the website, “He wants a big name female star on the panel. Mariah Carey is good, but she’s not that hot today. He wants Beyoncé because that would immediately give him the bounce needed to beat American Idol.”
Adding, “And Simon is willing to PAY to land Beyoncé. Our snitch tells us that he’s offered Beyonce $500M, or $100M per year for 5 seasons. If Bey accepted, she and Jay Z would IMMEDIATELY be worth over $1 BILLION combined.”
Hmmm, well it certainly sounds like the perfect job for a new mom. But getting locked in for 5 years could mean her singing career would suffer. But then again, her last album “4” didn’t do that well anyway, so… DO IT.

Just when you thought the Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith divorce rumors were over, Star magazine starts them up again…
The tabloid is reporting (via HollywoodLife) that the couple, married for 14-years, has split up their kids and are living on opposite sides of the United States. Jada’s great aunt, Estelle Pinkett, even supposedly tells the gossip mag that their children are suffering. “They haven’t spent any time as a whole family in months. And it’s not going to happen anytime soon — if ever again. The kids hear everything that Will and Jada say about each other. They’ve shed tears over it. It’s a hard time for them.”
Jada’s former stepfather, Warren Brown, adds, “I’m sure [their parents] take it into consideration, the psychological impact on the kids and what they could do to make it minimal. [But] it would surprise me if they stayed together.”
(Sup with relatives openly talking to tabloids? They definitely won’t be invited over for the next get-together…)
However, GossipCop reports the reason the family is separated right now is because Will and Jaden, 13, are filming a movie in Philadelphia. Meanwhile, Jada and 11-year-old Willow are back in California with the rest of the family. Any further exaggeration about the state of their marriage is simply “untrue.” As usual…

The police report in the death of Leslie Carter reveals the 25-year-old sister to Nick and Aaron overdosed on prescription pills.
People reports, “Her half-sister, Ginger Carter, told authorities that Leslie had a long history of mental illness and seemed depressed the morning before she died,” adding, “While taking a shower, Leslie fell down and her half-sister helped her lie down. Leslie appeared to be sleeping at first, but by the afternoon she had stopped breathing. Her father attempted CPR, then called 911. Leslie was pronounced dead at the hospital.”
Medication to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and anxiety, plus muscle relaxants were all found near Leslie in the investigation. A toxicology test is underway to confirm the cause of death.
According to TMZ, the former reality star/aspiring singer was trying to overcome her addiction by moving from Canada to upstate New York to live with some family members. They had apparently attempted to remove the home of all medication and believed she was recovering. Then on Tuesday, they left her alone for about an hour to run errands thinking she’d be okay, only to return and find her unconscious.
Such a tragic end for the wife/new mom. Both her brothers have famously struggled with addiction as well.
